Primary Coordinator’s Message

What a fabulous Term 2! We have had many successful excursions, incursions and many other engaging class activities.

Inter-school Competitions

Our Year 6 team have been participating in Inter-school sports since Term 1. They have improved skills in many areas of sports such as Newcombe, netball, AFL and t-ball. Students have developed great sportsmanship and have been working as a team. We thank Mr Bistricki for his great effort in organising these inter-school competitions.

Parent Teacher Interviews

We had successful Parent Teacher Interviews this term. It was great to chat with our parents about their child’s academic and social progress.

NAPLAN

We congratulate all our students who completed their NAPLAN testing this term. We are always proud of our students’ effort.

First Aid

Our Primary students had a refresher in first aid. It was a well-informed session where students had a chance to learn about first aid. We thank St John Ambulance for an excellent presentation.

Mother’s Day

We thank all our parents who attended our Mother’s Day breakfast. It was a great turn out and we really appreciate all our mothers. Their impact on our daily lives is crucial.

Parent Iftar

Our Parent Iftar was held on Tuesday 29th of May at Serenity Receptions. We had a full house and we are grateful to everyone who attended. It is always a pleasure to share a significant night with our parents.

Special Thanks

I would like to thank the members of the IDC Events Committee for their ongoing support: Ms Nilsen Tran, Ms Fusun Tufekci, Ms Sam Yacine, Ms Esra Yildirim-Bas, Ms Sebnem Golbasi and Mr Ahmed Rajab. We have been very busy organising the Mother’s Day Stall, the Open Days, the Parent Iftar Dinner and many other events. It is always a pleasure to be working with this team.
